As the founder of Sandy Cove Advisors, Deirdre works with her clients to develop customized solutions to integrate their wealth transfer, philanthropic, tax and investment objectives. She is deeply devoted to the philosophy of education and partnering with her clients to ensure they understand and are able to participate in the management of their wealth.
Deirdre is a Past President of the Boston Estate Planning Council, served on its Executive Committee for five years and also served as a two-term board member. She sits on Providence College's National Board of Overseers and is on their Greater Boston President’s Council. Deirdre is also a member of The Boston Foundation’s Professional Advisors Committee, a Board Member for the Norwell VNA and is engaged in many volunteer activities.
Deirdre lives in Cohasset with her husband and young adult children. During her free time, she enjoys traveling and staying active playing tennis, golf and cycle spinning.
Rob has an aptitude when it comes to macroeconomics, or seeing the big picture through the noise of the details. He understands that the money behind the big institutions is really money belonging to all of the individuals who deal with that institution. For that reason, he is focused on the individual, and coaching each of his clients to be their best and to reach their potential.
Through helping people get on the right track, through a plan and perspective that makes their future direction clear, Rob achieves his own personal satisfaction and helps clients set and accomplish their goals.
As Chief Investment Officer, Rob works with the firm’s Investment Committee in determining strategic portfolio asset allocation, portfolio construction, manager selection and portfolio risk management. Rob works with clients to develop customized investment strategies that meet their needs. He then integrates those investment strategies within the family's broader wealth management framework and identifies planning opportunities. He has an active passion for investing and taps into his broad network of resources and contacts to adeptly execute investment decisions on behalf of our clients.
Rob has also dedicated his time and efforts as a financial services industry liaison for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) promoting “Investor Protection and Market Integrity.” He is on Providence College’s Boston President’s Council and was a founding member of Providence College’s Business School Advisory Council. In his local community, he has served on the Board of Directors of the Hingham Federal Credit Union and the South Shore Conservatory Finance Committee.
Rob lives with his wife and children in Hingham where he enjoys coaching lacrosse and basketball. When he is not engaged in the community, he enjoys time with family, reading, writing, traveling and engaging in a broad variety of sports which include biking, skiing, basketball, lacrosse and golf.

One of Jennifer’s greatest joys is to see people truly live and enjoy their lives, knowing they have a financial plan in place, a target in mind, and a strategy that’s being implemented. Her purpose is to help clients get their “financial house” in order by aligning investments with current and future goals and then marrying that with with an estate plan.
As a Managing Director at Sandy Cover Advisors, Jennifer provides thoughtful investment and wealth advisory solutions appropriate for each client’s goals. She works with clients and advisors in the Tri State Area to integrate, implement, and advise on customized investment strategies and wealth management solutions. She also works with snowbird clients in Florida. As a member of Sandy Cove's investment committee, she is very passionate and dedicated to developing personalized investment strategies for unique client situations.
Jennifer and her husband have been happily married for more than 25 years. They enjoy spending time at their home in Florida, and are passionate golfers. They enjoy combining both traveling and playing golf and have done so across the world. Jennifer’s favorite golf course is The Portsalon Golf Club in Donegal, Ireland. She divides her time between the U.S. and London.

Kelley enjoys finding solutions to life’s challenges. Growing up in an athletic family with three brothers, she naturally found herself interacting and solving for opportunities and challenges of successful individuals and families. An analytical mind, combined with a passion for being with and helping people, inspired her to find a career in which she could take the complex and make it relatable to others. At Sandy Cove, Kelley is able to harness her strengths and passions for the benefit of her clients, providing each with straightforward analysis, solutions and answers to help them meet their financial goals.
Kelley works with successful professionals and their families, as well as multi-generational families to develop customized solutions to manage and protect their assets. At Sandy Cove, she provides thoughtful investment and wealth advisory solutions appropriate for each client’s financial and investment goals by incorporating retirement, philanthropic, gifting, estate and tax planning strategies. Kelley is also a member of Sandy Cove's investment team and works closely with our Chief Investment Officer to research and implement high-quality investment strategies for the firm's clients. Kelley is studying for her Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation.
Within her community, Kelley sits on the Board of Directors of The Company Theater in Norwell where she also holds a position on the finance committee. She is Secretary of the Hingham Newcomers Club and is on the membership committee of her golf club.
Kelley lives in Hingham with her husband. This fall, the couple will welcome their first child. During her free time, she enjoys skiing, golfing, cycling and summer days on the water.

As a Senior Client Advisor, Sherm is dedicated to managing and protecting the assets of individuals and their families. Sherm has decades of experience in the wealth management business. Prior to joining Sandy Cove Advisors, Sherm was an Investment Adviser at First National Corporation and Linsco Private Ledger. Sherm received a Master in Business Administration degree from Columbia University and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Middlebury College. Sherm lives in Hingham and enjoys spending time with his family and grandchildren.
An adept multi-tasker who is committed to following through on what she promises. Courtney Heald’s future in finance was cemented when she and Deirdre met 15 years ago. Fueled by her own interest in the field, experience in marketing, and their immediate cohesion, the two have worked together as a team since.
Courtney’s passion for people and developing trusting and lasting relationships shows in every encounter, and every minor transaction. She aims to simplify clients lives by paying their bills, offering insights on their personal challenges and planning community educational insights. She is committed to making a difference for each client.
As Director of Client Service, Courtney’s primary responsibility is to ensure that we provide the optimal client experience. Courtney is responsible for account maintenance and servicing, as well as responding to client requests in a timely manner. She provides administrative support in the coordination of the firm’s day-to-day operations, as well as the organization and production of special projects and event planning.
She is an active member of her community, currently serving on the Cohasset PSO and the Board of Directors at the South Shore Community Center. Courtney also enjoys volunteering in her children’s school classrooms.
Courtney lives in Cohasset with her husband, and their son and daughter. They enjoy beach and boat days with their extended family and friends as well as cheering on her children’s sporting events. Courtney also values being active and staying healthy and focused through exercise. She enjoys walking, running, yoga and cycling.

Toni Grimm has always confidently juggled life’s challenges with a positive view, a comprehensive focus, and a high level of positive energy. Working with people in their own endeavors through her problem-solving abilities and the competency to transform the complex into the simple, she is instinctively solution focused.
As Director of Financial Planning, is primarily responsible for financial planning, client service, and managing client relationships. Toni has developed a specialty in divorce planning, guiding clients through the progression from what is often a stressful and emotional situation to contentment and peace of mind about the future.
Toni works closely with our clients to identify their goals and objectives and assists them in developing a financial road map. At Sandy Cove, Toni is part of an integrated team that provides a high level of client service to family relationships. Toni is also a member of Sandy Cove’s investment team.
As a former college athlete, Toni enjoys coaching her children on the lacrosse fields and is an active volunteer in the Hingham schools.
Toni lives in Hingham where she is raising her four children. An avid tennis player, runner and youth lacrosse coach, she believes in keeping the mind and body healthy and models this for her children who are active themselves in sport. Focused on healthy cooking and natural remedies, she approaches every challenge in life as a positive opportunity.

A real passion for working with numbers set Suellen Durkin on an interesting career path that began with the Boston FBI. She worked on a taskforce performing forensic accounting helping to prosecute criminal bank fraud cases, which eventually led to her role with Sandy Cove in accounting and client service. In between the two she applied her organizational ability and detail oriented focus to raise her six children.
As Director of Accounting and Business Services at Sandy Cove, Suellen is responsible for providing accounting and financial analysis for our family office clients. She is proficient in Quickbooks, allowing her to assist with preparing and analyzing periodic reports including cash flow statements and balance sheets. Suellen is responsible for account maintenance and client service. Suellen also fulfills an administrative role for Sandy Cove by managing accounts receivable and payable, coordinating business planning and project management and overseeing special assignments. Today she is working to further develop her capabilities and expand her knowledge by studying for her Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation.
Suellen has served as Treasurer for several charitable organizations, including the Cohasset Football Boosters and Cohasset Sports Partnership.
Suellen lives in Cohasset with her six children. An avid reader, Suellen is focused on wellness and nutrition. Her own health regime includes hiking, walking and running, and is proud of her recent Boston Marathon finish in under four hours.
