Client Advisor
Job Summary: The Client Advisor is responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships through proactive client communication and management of client accounts. The Advisor will also be responsible for providing investment and financial planning advice and must be familiar with estate planning strategies and concepts for our wealth management prospects and clients. This advisor will be responsible for 30-40 existing family relationships. This role also has the potential to progress into a managerial role.
Responsibilities, Duties, and Accountabilities:
Client Management
Serve as lead advisor, manage, and maintain active communication with current and prospective clients
- Interface with clients on investment strategy, asset allocation or capital markets outlook
- Conduct client discovery, implementation and review meetings with skill, professionalism, honesty, and integrity
- Prepare for client meetings and provide continuous follow-up and maintenance of client relationships
- Collaborate with clients’ other professionals and advisors
Positively represent the firm’s commitment to exceptional client service
Make clients feel cared for and at ease, ask relevant questions, actively listen, and confidently handle client questions.
Financial Planning
Research, plan, design, recommend, and monitor customized financial plans to clients based on their objectives, resources, time horizons, risk profiles and preferences.
Monitor progress of the firm’s client’s plans and schedule follow-up meeting, as needed, with clients to ensure success of their plan
Master and become expert in the use of the firm’s financial planning software, eMoney.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required
- 5-10 years’ experience working with high-net-worth individuals
- Detail orientated with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work as a team player as well as an individual contributor
